This sabudana khichdi recipe is without onion and garlic and is perfect for those fasting. This is quick and easy to make, very delicious and perfect for vrat. Make sure you soak sabudana with adequate amount of water and for enough time.
Ingredients
Sabudana - 1 cup
Potato - 1
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp.
Peanut powder - 3 tbs
Lemon - 1
Green chili - 3
Coriander Leaves
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Salt
Ghee 3 tbs.
Method
Wash Sabudana with water thoroughly and add water till the sabudana is immersed. Let is soak overnight.
In a pan add ghee and heat it.
Add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
Then add green chilies.
Add cubes of boiled potatoes (optional)
Add sabudana, coarsely ground peanut, sugar, salt and lemon juice.
Stir it will and cover it with lid and let it cook for 5 mins.
After 5 mins add coriander and give it a good stir.
Transfer it to a serving bowl.
